How to Get Verified?

To start your verification, go to your Verification settings in your dashboard and click Get Verified.

You’ll be securely redirected to Veriff to complete the process.

Step 1: Open the Verification Section

Log in to your dashboard, open the Settings page, and go to the Verification section. Click Get Verified to begin.

Step 2: Prepare Your ID

You’ll need a valid government-issued identity document. Accepted document types may include:

  • Passport
  • National ID card
  • Driver’s license
  • Residence permit

Please make sure your document is valid, not expired, and clearly readable.

Step 3: Capture Your Document

You’ll be asked to take clear photos of your ID document. Depending on the document type, you may need to upload both the front and back.

For best results:

  • Use bright, even lighting
  • Make sure all text is clear and readable
  • Keep the full document visible
  • Avoid blur, glare, and cropped edges

Step 4: Take a Selfie

Veriff will ask you to complete a live selfie check to confirm your identity matches your document.

You may be asked to:

  • Look directly into the camera
  • Follow a simple movement prompt
  • Make sure your face is fully visible

For a smoother process, avoid sunglasses, hats, or anything covering your face.

Step 5: Complete the Verification

Once your document and selfie have been submitted, Veriff will review your information and complete the verification checks. Most verifications are completed within seconds, but some may require a short manual review.

Verification FAQ

Which documents are accepted?

We support common government-issued identity documents, including passports, national ID cards, driver’s licenses, and residence permits.

Unsupported documents include school IDs, birth certificates, library cards, and other membership cards.

How long does verification take?

Most verifications are completed in seconds. If additional review is needed, it may take a few more minutes.

Why was my verification rejected?

Common reasons include:

  • Blurry or unreadable ID photos
  • An expired or unsupported document
  • Details that do not match
  • A failed selfie check

If your verification is rejected, follow the instructions shown during the process and try again with clearer images or another supported document.

Can I complete verification on a mobile device?

Yes. You can complete verification on your phone, and in many cases this is the easiest way to take your document photos and selfie.

Can I use a document that is not in English?

Yes. Veriff supports documents from many countries and territories in multiple languages.

Can I verify for someone else?

No. The person completing the verification must be the same person shown on the identity document.

Is my data secure?
