Ejemplo de Cuenta de $100,000:
La pérdida máxima total es 8% de tu balance inicial = $8,000. El capital de tu cuenta, incluyendo posiciones no realizadas/flotantes, no debe caer por debajo de $92,000.
Sí, puedes mantener operaciones durante la noche y los fines de semana.
La pérdida máxima diaria se basa en el 4% del balance inicial de la cuenta.
Calculamos el drawdown diario de la siguiente manera:
Al cambio de día a las 4PM EST, tomaremos la cifra más alta entre el balance de la cuenta o el capital de la cuenta y restaremos un 4% fijo del balance inicial del valor más alto como límite de pérdida diaria para el nuevo día.
Ejemplo 1:
En una Cuenta de 100K, si a las 4pm EST tienes una operación abierta con una ganancia flotante de $2,000, el capital de tu cuenta será 102K. Con un drawdown diario del 4%, el capital no puede caer por debajo de $98,000 ($102,000 – $4,000 = $98,000) en el siguiente día de trading.
Ejemplo 2:
Si en una Cuenta de 100K a las 4pm EST tienes una operación abierta con una pérdida flotante de -$2,000, el capital de tu cuenta será $98,000. Como tu balance de $100K es más alto que tu capital de $98,000, tu límite de drawdown diario de $4,000 se calculará sobre un balance de $100K. Esto significa que para el siguiente día de trading, el capital no puede caer por debajo de $96,000 ($100,000 – $4,000 = $96,000).
Ejemplo 3:
Si no hay operaciones abiertas a las 4pm EST, el drawdown diario será el 4% del balance cerrado.
